Pakistan – A Nation in Crisis

In 2024, Pakistan faced a staggering 7% rise in poverty, pushing 13 million more people below the poverty line and bringing the total to 25.3% of the population. The aftermath of the 2022 floods continues to haunt the nation, with over 33 million people affected and more than 2.1 million homes damaged or destroyed. These challenges have left countless families struggling to rebuild their lives amidst economic turmoil and infrastructural devastation.

The 2022 floods submerged one-third of the country, displacing over 33 million people and causing damages exceeding $30 billion. The agricultural sector suffered immensely, with significant losses in rice and cotton crops, leading to food insecurity for millions. Access to clean water remains a critical issue, with over 5.4 million people relying on contaminated sources, heightening the risk of waterborne diseases.

A LAND IN CRISIS

Innocence at Risk: The Children of Pakistan

Over 2.1 million children in flood-affected areas are suffering from acute malnutrition. The crisis has also led to a surge in child marriages, as families grapple with economic hardships and displacement. These young lives are caught in a cycle of poverty and vulnerability, with limited access to education and healthcare, threatening the future of an entire generation.

Your Mercy Could Save a Life

When the floodwaters swallowed homes and the cries of hungry children echoed through broken valleys, who stood with them? They don't ask for much — just enough to sleep dry, eat once a day, and believe they haven’t been forgotten by their Ummah.

The Prophet ï·º said:
"Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter."
— [Sahih Muslim 2699]

This is more than charity. It is our test. Your donation is not just aid — it’s a lifeline, a shield, and a response to a silent Ya Allah.
